 Northern State University Health Services
provides medical services for students currently enrolled at NSU. Health Services is located
on the second floor of the Student Center in Room 217.
Services provided are: the assessment and treatment of acute or sudden onset of illness or injury; referral services base on
the individual’s physical and emotional needs; immunizations* to meet the needs of the students: Measles (MMR), Tetanus (Td),
Tuberculosis screening (urine screening, strep throat, blood count and mono screening) are free to the student when the tests
are determined necessary by the RN on staff and collected at the Health Service office; over-the-counter medications for
common colds, sore throat, cough and headaches; medical equipment such as crutches, vaporizers and cold/hot packs are available
to check out; and informational and referral service assistance provided upon request by the student.
